This document is provided in English for the convenience of our international Members. It is a translation of the original French version. In the event of any discrepancy or dispute regarding interpretation, the French version shall prevail.

1. Our Approach to Cookies

OFFWAN uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) only to the extent strictly necessary for the technical functioning of the Platform. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, audience measurement cookies, or any third-party analytics or marketing trackers.

2. Why No Consent Banner

Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), as transposed into French law at Article 82 of the loi Informatique et Libertés, prior consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary for the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user (such as maintaining a login session or ensuring platform security). Because OFFWAN relies exclusively on this category of strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is displayed when you use the Platform.

Should we introduce any non-essential cookie or tracker in the future (for example, for analytics or marketing purposes), we will update this policy and implement a compliant consent mechanism beforehand.

4. Managing Cookies

Because we use only strictly necessary cookies required for the Platform to operate, disabling them through your device or browser settings may prevent you from using OFFWAN altogether. If you wish to review or clear locally stored data associated with the OFFWAN application, you may do so through your device's application settings (e.g., "Clear app data" on Android, or by deleting and reinstalling the application on iOS).
